Twenty minutes of plain questions
The diagnostic. You talk, we map — who knows what, where the money comes from, what breaks when someone's on leave. You watch your business get written down, live.
We build private AI brains for South African businesses — a system your company owns that knows your files, emails and history, and answers in plain English. Look at our Showcases →
A veteran retires, and thirty years of "how we actually do it" retires with him. The new hire asks the question the last one asked, and someone answers it from memory — again. Month-end waits on the one person who knows. Every business runs on answers like these. Ours did too — so we built systems that hold them. Now we build them for businesses like yours.
The gap
AI has read the whole internet. It has never read you.
That's why it's been impressive everywhere except inside your business: your project files, your pricing history, your customer conversations, the judgment your best people carry — none of it is anywhere an AI can use it.
Until someone writes the business down, the smartest model in the world starts every day as your newest hire.
How it works
From “it’s all in our heads” to a business that answers for itself.
The diagnostic. You talk, we map — who knows what, where the money comes from, what breaks when someone's on leave. You watch your business get written down, live.
It reads in what you already have — files, emails, records, history — and lives on hardware you control. Yours from day one. We never hold your data. Works with Claude, GPT, Gemini — any AI, no lock-in.
Ask it anything in plain English; every answer shows where it came from. It drafts the follow-up, chases the invoice, writes the post — and nothing goes out without your signature.
We call this system a Substrate. You'll mostly call it by what it does. The diagnostic maps which parts you already have and which we build.
Begin the diagnosticIn production
We don't ask you to take any of this on faith — we run our own companies on it. The three we've shipped, all in production, are deliberately different. Attesté runs a software company end-to-end with one person keeping watch. Practacular multiplies the productivity of an accounting practice. BlitzBox is the productized version: one business per box, with everything on a Mac Mini at your premises. Same underlying pattern. Different trades.
Attesté is an art collection management platform. The product runs publicly at atteste.art. Less visible: the company behind it operates as a single human and an AI agent. Marketing campaigns, sales sequences, financial reconciliation, customer support, all handled day-to-day by Claude, working from a system that captured the entire business.
The operator's role is compliance, judgement calls, and the things that genuinely require a human signature. The work that doesn't is delegated to the system. This is what becomes possible when AI gets proper access to a business's knowledge: an operating model that runs every day.
Practacular is AI practice management for South African accounting firms. Live in production. The whole practice is written down and connected — tax reviews, compliance workflows, client engagements — so every accountant can ask it in plain English and get an answer with its source.
Tax review cycles compress. Compliance lookups stop being manual. The practice operates at higher leverage because its accumulated knowledge becomes instantly accessible to every accountant, on every engagement, in every conversation with a client.
BlitzBox is the boxed version of what we do for bespoke clients: the box is yours alone, and everything stays on your premises. It ships as an AI system on a custom-finished Apple Mac Mini. Brain, Financial, Email, and Compliance modules always on. Nothing leaves the building.
Configure it to your practice: hardware tier (from a Mac Mini to an NVIDIA DGX Spark), the modules that do work for you, and the embedded support you want. Then reserve a commissioning slot with a refundable EFT deposit. Charl personally provisions each Box at our Cape Town master station before it ships.
The asset
Consulting ends in a slide deck. This ends in an asset: the system, the code, and the record of how your business actually runs — licensed to you, on your hardware, itemised on a handover list. Your accountant can put it on the balance sheet. One day, a buyer can pay for it.
Principles
Four principles. They're load-bearing. Every engagement we take on passes through them.
We don't sell the AI. We build the system that makes AI useful to you specifically — and you own it.
Use Claude. Use GPT. Use Gemini. Use whatever ships next. We won't lock you to any one vendor — we run several ourselves.
The code is MIT-licensed to you from minute one. Self-hosted on hardware you control. We never hold your data. If you stop working with us, you keep everything.
Every action is on the record. Every draft waits for your signature. The system refuses to type passwords. We never auto-send.
Operator
Context Design Co operates under Yield SPM (Pty) Ltd, a South African studio building AI-multiplied businesses. Attesté and Practacular are our own; BlitzBox is the same system, boxed.
We use the same patterns we sell. The discipline you see on this page didn't come from a whiteboard; it came from running our own businesses on it.
